Erin Aylmer, MS, MFT, E-RYT
Hello, I’m Erin. I help couples feel more connected, understood, and supported in their relationships. My style is warm, natural, and collaborative. I support couples navigating the full spectrum of life including, family stress, infidelity, financial issues, communication breakdowns and emotional disconnection.
Many of the couples I work with care deeply about their relationship, but stress, parenting, or old patterns keep getting in the way. Often, they feel stuck in the same arguments, disconnected from each other, or unsure how to get back to feeling close. I help couples slow things down, understand what’s really happening underneath conflict, and learn how to reach for each other in ways that feel safer and more supportive.
I enjoy working with couples who are raising families and I understand how much pressure that can put on a relationship. When partners feel more connected and supported, it often creates more emotional safety for the whole family.
My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based, attachment-focused model that helps couples identify patterns, strengthen emotional bonds, and create safer, more secure relationships. Alongside EFT, I also offer practical tools to help partners feel more grounded and regulated, especially during emotionally charged moments.
In therapy, I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where both partners can slow down, feel heard, and begin to understand each other in new ways. If you are interested in working with me, you can find me at Northeast Health Services in Falmouth. I offer weekly sessions in-person and online. Call 508-663-3809.
